Thursday October 4th

We will be going to gym today. We did our daily circle. Alyciana was kid of the day, so she did our calendar. Tomorrow will be Ms. Adamson's last day. We wrote Ms. Adamson a letter telling her something we will remember about our time with her and we drew her a nice picture. She is going to make a book out of all of our stuff. We did silent reading. We are going to watch the Lorax, which teaches us about taking care of earth. We did math- Grade 2s had to do a color by number which turned into the Lorax, when we were finished we could play a math game; Grade 1s had to sort glue sticks into piles of 20. Grade 1s in writing had to cut up and glue a sentence together so that it made sense and then copy it in their own writing; Grade 2s had a picture of a witch and they had to write about it using at most one sentence that started with 'I'. It was Jashan's birthday today he gave everyone a glow pen, an eraser and a pencil. Happy Birthday JASHAN!
