Thursday August 30th

Today we did a puzzle piece, our picture went in the middle of the puzzle piece then drew things that were important to us around it, we cut it out and Ms Adamson is going to make it into a big puzzle on our bulletin board. We had our daily circle passing our sweetgrass and had our final name challenge, Aleeza was able to get everyone's name! In math we worked on patterns. We read a book about belonging because we ALL BELONG here in this classroom. We did some writing about what we learned yesterday from our special presenter from the Dental Bus. Grade 2s also wrote about what they wished their teacher knew about them, grade ones worked on their letter 'a' and some cutting and gluing work. We also did some partner reading in the morning and silent reading in the afternoon. Now we are off to gym. We'll see you soon.
