Good afternoon!
Today we worked on patterning in Math. In writing Grade 1s continued to work on letters and Grade 2s wrote another review about a boom called 'The Pigeon Needs a Bath'. We listened to a story about our bodies and talked about personal space, how to respect others and what to do if someone is invading our personal space. In the afternoon we started working on a project about our emotions and have also started watching the movie Inside Out which ties into our work.

Please don't forget to sign up for conferences happening this Thursday and Friday, another notice went home to parents who have yet to sign up as well as a paper for you to fill out with your child and bring to conferences. If you require a translator please send this paper with your child by Wednesday so that arrangements can be made. Finally, if you are having trouble signing up, I will be bringing my laptop outside tomorrow to sign up anyone who requires assistance so please make sure you catch me at the end of the day.
