Tuesday September 11th

Today we did silent reading. In math we worked on patterns. Grade 1s worked on the letter 'e' and drew pictures of things we eat. Grade 2s did patterns in math and we had to finish the patterns that Ms. Adamson made. Grade 2s read a book called Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and we wrote a review all together, then by ourselves we wrote about our favorite part of the book. We also started our alphabet book, we started working with the lettter 'A' and will be doing the whole alphabet! Someone new came today her name is Orfa, and tomorrow we will get one more new friend! So exciting!!! Pretty soon we will go to music. We also worked more on our respect booklet. We talked about respecting the outside, otherwise called the environment. We can respect the environment by keeping your garbage in your pocket till you get home instead of throwing it on the ground outside. You have to stay on the cement and not go on the grass, or the grass will get ruined and other nature things like plans, flowers, and insects.  Kid of the day did the calendar today- and that was Fatima.
