Today kid of the day is Labiba. She did our calendar for today! We listened to a story about 7 seven blind mice, because we were learning about our sense of sight. The mice were using the their sense of touch to figure things out, we know we could use our other 4 senses to figure things out if we were blind. We did sketching outside after our story. We did some silent reading today. We are going to music today! In math, Grade 1s had their last day of patterns, they made caterpillers all the way up to sixteen circles. Grade 2s did problem solving with drummers in an increasing pattern and had to figure out if the drum line kept growing to be 10 rows long how many drumsticks would be in the 10th row. We did the letter F today. We did our daily circle. We had time to go to the learning commons today, and will have more time tomorrow for people who didn't go today or forgot their books.
